My new favorite dress: it's just so charming & adorable with the little bows. Rocked it with a tulle skirt I have & moto boots. If you see me in the next few weeks, I'll probably be wearing
and sleeping in this outfit.

I'm incredibly psyched to introduce Tightly Knit to you ladies & gents!
As you may already know, I've been running my own lifestyle brand for over two years now called my Remedy. The whole reason I was able to do this was with the support of my parents, Brigitte & Rolland. They are my rocks, constantly keeping me grounded & supporting all of my dreams. My mom has been a huge part of the backbone of my Remedy - helping me send out orders, set up at events, plan, daydream...
That's why I'm really happy to tell you about my mom's little dreamed up creation: Tightly Knit. She's been a knitting ninja for years now and I've finally convinced her to set up shop with me at a few shows. Her knits fly off the table and it's awesome. I'm so excited about this - especially because my mom doesn't even realize how sweet her knits really are!
Tightly Knit features hats, headwraps, floral headwraps, scarves & more knit just for you, all for under $25! Are you looking for stripes? Flowers? Bows? My mom can design you custom pieces with your favorite colors & style.
If you dig Tightly Knit as much as I do, like my mommypie's Facebook page here and help me convince her how awesome she is ;] To order something, comment below or on the Facebook page or email TightlyKnitDesign@gmail.com.

How was your Valentine's Day? I got dressed up, bought an extra large popcorn & saw the new Die Hard with Eric- yippe kai yay! It was a good time.
Because I think everyday is Valentines, here are some goofball shots from the Live In Love holiday campaign for my Remedy. I really dig these snowbunny boots &... being a silly panda. By the way, this bag's still on sale for only $14 - ecofriendly ink & reusable!
Keep living in love,

I'm not much of an orange juice drinker; sometimes it's just too acidic for me. However, my mom made the delight above for me when I went home the other week and I devoured it. It tasted - straight up - like dessert and I was
Give it a go yourself for 2 servings:
2 medium oranges
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup ice cubes
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract or add vanilla beans (secret ingredient!)
Blend 'em all. Serve and enjoy! Try blending in different fruits (bananas, mangoes, strawberries...) for various flavors or add whole berries in at the end for sweet garnishes.

|I spy... Big Ben!|
I had the unbelievably wonderful pleasure of going to London last October with Eric. He took me as an out-of-this-world surprise to see the opening weekend of Skyfall, the new James Bond in IMAX; I'm a bit of a Bond girl. Mhm, Eric's pretty fly
for a white guy. I most definitely freaked out the entire trip because London is stellar. I fell in love with this city: the history of the buildings, the delicious cider beers, the art covered alleyways, the cave pubs, the fish and chips, the amazing fashion... everything. I'm beyond thankful to have been treated to set foot there and I'd go back in a heartbeat!

I got this dress on the sale rack at H&M for $20. It was a maaaajor steal. The intricate beadwork is incredible and I love that it looks like a flapper dress. Heh. Also, a New Year's Eve dress for $20? Does it get any better?! All of that aside, I don't like filling my closet
anymore with things I can only wear once so I decided to find a way to downplay this piece as I did with my Bestey Johnson dress. I layered it with some plaid, combat boots, and a rockstar moto jacket.
I even attempted my hair with this hair tutorial from Treasures and Travels - so easy and awesome. Take it from someone who doesn't really do hair... this style is a keeper! My headband was a bit too loose and kept letting out hair so I've also shown a separate way to wear the style with only your bangs tucked in.

If you think I was exaggerating when I said that I haven't taken these plaid pants off.. here's some living proof! Same clothes from last week's posts, (washed) & remixed with some new lipstick I picked up last week. Absolutely adore CoverGirl Lip Perfection lipsticks; they're bold, matte, & they actually stay on my (ever chapped) lips. This one is Euphoria.

As a Jersey bred girl, the damage that Hurricane Sandy did to the Jersey shore really hits close to home. The shore is my safe haven. It's awful to think about how distraught the shore is after this storm. So, I've teamed up with my kick ass friends at The Monthly Pit (a group who puts on monthly rock shows to keep the music scene alive in NJ) to bring to you a fundraiser for Sandy relief - Rock, Shop, & Relief: A Sandy Charity Event. It's a rock show & flea market all in one featuring local bands & vendors in NJ!
I have a tiny favor to ask of you: can you please help us spread the word about this event in any way possible (blog, Facebook, Twitter)? It would mean the world to me. I realize a lot of my readers are not on the East Coast, but perhaps you have readers or friends who are. We would love to have as many people as possible attend this show to raise money and awareness to restore the shore!
The event is tomorrow! There is more event info here on the event page on Facebook. All $5 ticket proceeds and a percentage of most of our vendors' profits (thank you vendors - you rule!) will be donated to the American Red Cross (we are not affiliated in any way; merely volunteering to raise money).
If you can't make the event, you can still help by donating something as small as oatmeal or a hammer! Again - I realize many of you are not from NJ. That's okay! You can totally still help! Here is a
"wedding registry" list of items that are still needed by many Hurricane Sandy victims. Pick one tiny item to do a random act of kindness and you will make a huge impact (and also know that you're funds are going to donating actual items!). It's a win-win.
Thank you for any and all of your help! Keep living in love.
